Belt for a Freezing Environment

A customer in the food processing sector needed a company with our expertise to make a chain driven belt for a low temperature freezing application. It was decided that the belt would be a balanced weave mesh made from 304 stainless steel since it offers high tensile strength coupled with positive drive for precise belt travel. The belt would be used to convey harvested produce through a multi-level freezing unit. The components of the belt were individually manufactured utilizing our custom tooled weaving, crimping and straightening machines. The belt was also thoroughly inspected for length and width requirements at each stage during the manufacturing process including the final assembly. This product met all of the quality and technical requirements outlined by the customer.
