Belt for the Marine Industry
A client specializing in aquatic weed harvesting technology required a conveyor belt for their equipment. They specifically chose us for this job due to our long history of manufacturing quality belts. The positively driven flat wire belt would be used to transfer the vegetation to tightly packed storage compartments within the harvester. After much consultation, we were able to design and fabricate the heavy duty flat wire belt which would be suitable for heavier conveying applications. Made from type 304 stainless steel, the belt would better resist corrosion, providing a longer lifespan for this application. Once the strip was formed using our state of the art machines, the connector rods were inserted and welded at the ends to assemble the belt according to the dimensions specified by the customer. The belt met all of the requirements outlined by our ISO 9001:2008 quality system.
